Minimalistic Kid’s Bench Turns Into Seesaw [Pics]

Interesting furniture piece doubles as a children's play equipment.

The SeesawSeat is a prototype created by designer Dirk van Amstel Ploos. The wooden bench can be easily converted into a seesaw within seconds. The dual-purpose design is simple, and is put together using round-edged wood planks.

Dirk van Amstel Ploos graduated from the University of Utrecht in 2007. His concepts have a minimalistic appeal and he carefully considers the end-user throughout the creative process. He believes that by creating things that consumers want to use, would result in longer sustainability of the product.
