Espalhe Guerilla Marketing has created a promotion for cough drop brand Halls Brazil on its Facebook page that offers two strangers the chance to get married. The popular page has almost three million fans and is leveraging this large fanbase by taking the idea of ‘online dating’ and merging it with advertising, social media and a fun giveaway.
People are invited to post their photo on the Facebook page and choose their ideal partner, who will hopefully feel the same way. They can also pick their bridal party, and public voting will then decide which two people will be chosen to get married at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. The marriage itself will only last five days.
