Karma is a new service that allows users to pay for and share Wi-Fi anywhere. The plan works like this: users log into their Karma Wi-Fi hotspot for a pay-as-you-go fee of $14 per GB of data, and for each person around them who purchase connectivity through the device, they will earn 100 MB of free data.

The no-contract, no overages plan enables users virtually connect to a network of Wi-Fi users who will share one physical hotspot terminal. Hosting up to eight devices, the Karma hotspot partners with internet providers to provide bandwidth service.

In addition, the service is linked with Facebook, which allows users to see who else is using the hotspot and send thank you messages to the device owner. The company plans to launch the product by the end of 2012 for $69 each.
