It might seem like an odd match to pair running shoes with swimwear, but that’s exactly what Nike and Hurley have done in their latest collaboration. The two brands have launched a limited edition item especially designed for the Nike US Open for Surfing.

Hurley has improved on its award-winning biomimicry boardshorts, and has engineered the Phantom Fuse that is even lighter with less bulk. Nike enlisted the help from artist James ‘Dalek’ Marshall to design the Run +3 sneaker with color combinations that match the boardshorts.

The Nike Free Run +3 Hurley NRG collection is now available worldwide at selected Nike retailers.
