In the video for She’s So Mean, viewers can switch their viewing angle while watching the video. Watch Matchbox Twenty rock out to the song alongside  drummer Paul Doucette or get up close and personal with lead singer Rob Thomas. The music video was shot with a GoPano, a simple addition to an iPhone 4 or regular camera that lets anyone create a unique and engaging video experience. The tool creates 360-degree videos, which enable  viewers to click, drag, and spin videos (like the Matchbox Twenty music video) to get a panoramic view of  the action.

Matchbox Twenty embraced new technology trends for the release of their latest album, North. The GoPano video concept supported an official music video launch (which happened in July) and the band teased fans with daily photos on Twitter of the music video before the official release- a far cry from the promotional tools that were available for the band’s 1st album release in 1995.
