Itay Kirshenbaum‘s 4 in 1 chair doesn’t have a right-side up. Instead, you can sit on it no matter which way it is facing. The wooden chair was manufactured using CNC technology as part of Kirshenbaum’s industrial design studies at Hadassah College in Israel.
It has four seating modes that the user can select depending on how they want to sit. Each time the piece of furniture is flipped over, the chair takes on a different aesthetic. There is a regular chair, the ‘double bench’, one that functions like a rocking chair, and a ‘beach chair’ that sits lower to the ground.
