Instead of actually driving a Hyundai to test the car, this test drive is a virtual Tron-like racing game. The experience was developed by digital agency iLogic in South Africa to launch the new generation Hyundai i30. The cars were parked in popular nightlife spots and people could get in to try out the race simulation, with the track projected onto the windscreen.
By playing the game, participants had fun trying to be first on the leaderboard, and they also got to learn about the vehicle. Those waiting to play could check out the touchscreen rear window, which featured an interactive brochure. Take a look at the virtual test drive in the video below:
