Creative agency White Label commissioned artistic duo Davy and Kristin McGuire to create a bespoke projected theater installation for Courvoisier, called ‘Alchimie de Courvoisier.’ This unique re-imagining of their Paradis ageing cellar depicts the cognac brand’s craft and showcases it’s 200 year old heritage using a projection onto a miniature paper stage.

Intricate Paper Diorama Traces History Of Courvoisier

The illuminating artwork takes the viewer through the story of  Courvoisier’s cognac-making process, along with historical references and key Courvoisier personalities. It ends by presenting Courvoisier as a global luxury brand, delivering world-renowned cognac to famous international cities. The ‘paper architects,’ Davy and Kristin McGuire, said:

Paper craft is a very ancient, simple technique, and by combining this with modern technologies such as projection mapping and light, we create an intriguing mix that people really like… Our work is quite similar to that of the subject of Alchimie de Courvoisier, because it’s really about lots of elements coming together to make something new and unique, that is what we do and that is what Courvoisier do.

You can take a look at the bespoke theatrical piece in the video below:
