The BLAZE Bike Light tackles the problem of cyclists being hit by a car when a driver changes lanes without seeing the bike. BLAZE includes a bright LED front light, and also features a lazer module that projects a symbol of a cyclist onto the road. The projected symbol is to alert drivers and pedestrians that a bike is approaching. This feature is able to reduce the chances of the biker being hit when they’re in a vehicle’s blind spot.
The bike light is encased in a machined aluminum with silver nickel control panels. The current prototype is super compact, lightweight, and also waterproof. The BLAZE is available for pre-order on Kickstarter starting at £50. Watch the video below for more details.
