Air Eltec has developed the SkyTender trolley that aims to improve efficiency and reduce staff costs for airlines. The high-tech drinks cart is able to make more than 30 different drinks, including soft drinks, coffee, cocktails, and wine, at the touch of a button.

According to the website, regular trolleys can be easily upgraded  to an automated one with the installation of modular drink cartridges and CO2 cylinder that use an RFID system.  A stocked trolley can prepare up to 290 drink servings.

SkyTender recently made its debut on a flight from Cologne, Germany to Palma, Majorca with the German airline WDL Aviation. Watch the promotional video to see how the trolley works:
