Japanese company Shiseido has created a foundation called 'Fullmake Washable Base' that makes it easier to wash off makeup.

Japanese company Shiseido has created a foundation called ‘Fullmake Washable Base’ that can be removed using warm water. It also allows the makeup applied on top to be easily washed off without using a makeup remover.

The makeup base claims to help create a flawless cosmetic finish and hopes to make users feel more relaxed about wearing makeup, knowing that their skin can quickly and easily be restored to its natural state.

The foundation includes a substance developed by Shiseido called ‘Veil Action Polymer’, which is hydrophobic to cold water but hydrophilic to warm water.

Specially Formulated Makeup Can Be Removed With Just Warm Water

When it blends with warm water, this works to detach the Fullmake Washable Base from the skin, allowing the base and other makeup to be washed off easily. The foundation also helps smooth out unevenness and fine wrinkles, helps makeup adhere tightly to the skin and lips, illuminates the skin with a natural glow, and hydrates it to offer protection from dryness.

The Fullmake Washable Base will be available for around $12 from March at stores in Japan. Watch the video from DigInfo below to learn more about this new product:
