Starbucks is testing three new handcrafted sodas in ten of its stores in Seattle. These come in the flavors of original ginger ale, lemon ale, and spiced root beer.

The coffee company is trialing these new menu options before deciding whether to roll them out nationally. A poster introducing the sodas reads: “Enjoy premium, sparkling beverages inspired by your favorite classic sodas – naturally brewed and made individually for you.”

Starbucks Tests Handcrafted Sodas

For the test, which has been going on for about a week, the sodas are measured out and mixed to order and they are customizable, so you can have them made just how you like them.

Food Republic notes that as well as the handcrafted sodas, Starbucks is also gaging customers’ interest in sparkling teas and Refreshers, which are ideas it has thought up and tested before.
