Supermarket Prints Annual Sustainability Report On Customers’ Receipts [Video]

European chain store makes its contributions to the environment easy to access for shoppers.

To reiterate its environmental message in Italy, European supermarket chain Auchan is allowing it’s customers to gain full access to their sustainability report.


What makes this particular sharing of information unique, is that the company is doing it via a regular receipt. Vistor’s to one of their stores just have to use their smartphone to scan the receipt, and they can gain access to all of Auchan’s sustainability information.


German agency serviceplan were responsible for developing the idea, the results of which you can watch below:
