Designer Roger Moliné's Level shelf creates a visual impression of how much various readers have read.

Barcelona-based product designer Roger Moliné has created a cloth wall shelf that changes shape depending on what’s being stored.

The Level wall shelf is made of several cylinders attached to the wall and a continuous piece of canvas acrylic material looped through the cylinders. The fabric becomes weighed down by whatever is placed on top of it so that the shelf becomes a visual presentation of its contents.

The Level wall shelf lets owners play around with how they store their books. Organizing them by reader will reveal who reads the most, while organizing them by genre reveals what kind of books the owners like.
