Philadelphia book publisher Quirk Books imagined a series modeled after the Ben & Jerry’s design.
Philadelphia book publisher Quirk Books designed a series of ice cream flavors inspired by popular books to celebrate National Ice Cream Month. Imagining what would happen if books and ice cream collided, they modeled the packaging after the Ben & Jerry’s design.
The six sample flavors include ‘Berry Potter And The Container Of Secrets’, which features a magical blend of butter beer, Bertie Bott’s Strawberry Flavour Beans and chocolate frogs. ‘Oliver Twist’ is a mix of rich dark chocolate and simple vanilla flavors with a smattering of English Toffee that makes you say “Please sir, I want some more.”
‘Whirled War Z’ contains gummy worms crawling through a swirl of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, with a random splattering of cherries. There is also ‘A Clockwork Orange Creamsicle’, ‘One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish’ and ‘War and Peach’. Click through to see images of the creative literary ice cream flavors:
