Tadaa gives the illusion of floating objects in pictures with its editing feature.
German startup Tadaa has already received a lot of media attention since the launch of its photo-sharing app last week. Tadaa 3D is similar to Instagram, where users can add different filters and easily share their photos to social network such as Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. Nevertheless, as the name suggests, the app also allows users to convert any photo into a 3D image.
Tadaa 3D has a built-in 3D editor where users can create the illusion of floating objects. Users would need to first ‘mask’ the object that they want to apply the 3D effect on. After adjusting the photo and applying filters, users can tilt the screen to view the object in what appears from different angles.
The image can then be shared and will retain its 3D quality when viewed without the app. See an example of a Tadaa 3D image below.
Tadaa first launched its social photo app in 2011 and currently has nearly 3 million downloads to date. Tadaa 3D is currently only available on iOS devices and can be downloaded in the App Store for $3.99.
