Following last week’s announcement of the Connect UP design competition, PSFK Labs and our partners at Jawbone would like to invite you to a discussion and workshop session at our Future of Home Living exhibition. The Connect UP workshop will be an opportunity for designers, hackers and technologists to learn about the products and technologies featured in the space and explore firsthand the range of possibilities that can be created around connected home living.

Chris Merill from Jawbone’s engineering team will be on hand to share the brand’s vision around connected living. PSFK’s Founder Piers Fawkes and Director of Consulting, Scott Lachut will discuss the trends shaping the Future of Home Living and highlight the emerging products and technologies that bring them to life.

Come with your ideas, concepts and sketches to share and discuss with PSFK’s creative community. We will have artists on hand to help turn your awesome innovations into illustrations worthy of any fridge.

The workshop will be held Friday, August 16th, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EDT) at our space in Chelsea (101 West 15th street, New York, NY 10011). Sign up free below, and click here for more info:

Sign-up for the competition has closed, but stay tuned here to vote on the finalists and winners and all of the contest information.
