Affinia Hotels partnered with the grocery delivery service for all its NYC locations to help visitors cook their own meals.
Because the rooms at Affinia come with fully-equipped kitchens, separate dining areas and outdoor patios, hotel guests are more than welcome to do their own cooking and have their meals in their suites. It can be cheaper than ordering room service or dining out. The set-up is especially convenient and budget-friendly for guests who are staying for a few days or even longer.
FreshDirect offers the hotel guests with meal options like the Healthy Kit or Business Kit. Guests will have their kitchen stocked with foods such as fruits and veggies, cookies, Greek yogurt, chips, and salsa. The options also include four-minute meals and microwavable meals.
The meal kits can be ordered in advance, upon booking, via the hotel’s online e-concierge service or at the hotel any time during the guest’s stay.
The collaborative service first launched at Affinia Dumont and will be available at all Manhattan locations of the hotel brand. The hotel brand is also developing locally-sourced meal kits.
