Google Japan has come out with three Google Play vending machines that sell various games for Android. The machines have 18 different games available, a mix of free and paid games for devices that run on Android 4.0.
The machines use near-field communication or NFC so all buyers have to do is place their Android device on a tray below the giant touchscreen and wait for their purchased game to be delivered via NFC.
For those folks who don’t carry the required device, the machines have a Nexus 4 that they can try out, according to Engadget. They will have to give the Nexus back though after playing with it. Google employees in white jumpsuits will be there to man the vending machines. The machines are outside the Parco department store in Shibuya.
