Designer Sayalee Kaluskar took a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and turned them into a solar-powered iPhone charger.

Kaluskar placed small solar panels on each side of the frame, allowing the sunglasses to harness solar energy during the day. At night, the frames can be detached and used to charge an iPhone.

Kaluskar worked with San Franciso-based copywriter Ramiro Ramirez on the project as part of their student work at Miami Ad School in San Francisco.
