Users simply paste their text and the site will analyze it, focusing on making sentences clear and simple, eliminating adverbs and avoiding the passive voice – points that Ernest Hemingway considered the key things to creating good prose. The app uses an algorithm to analyze any piece of writing and then color-codes areas that may need improvement, and recommends replacement words of force.
