We can tell a lot about people from what they post on their social media accounts, especially the photos they share since these photos show the places they go to, the food they like, the people they hang out with, and other stuff they care about.
This is what Glimpse, a new dating app, has leveraged on to help their members create the best visual profile. Glimpse lets its users create their profiles using their Instagram photos.
The dating app strays from the usual self-written bios, which most dating apps and sites use. Instead, Glimpse lets its users make a more authentic profile of themselves by selecting nine photos from their Instagram account to give other members a peek into who they really are and what they are like in real life.
Glimpse users can browse anonymously through other users’ profiles and “smile” or click on the smiley icon at someone they find interesting or break the ice and start a conversation over an interesting photo.
Users can request an invite on the app website or download it from the Apple app store. The app is free and users don’t have to worry about Glimpse posting on their Instagram profiles.
