The Shortcut-S is a computer keyboard created specifically for designers that use Photoshop and other graphics and video software.
The keyboard has 319 tactile keys that are customizable. The makers of the Shortcut-S keyboard have already set up the first 299 keys to perform the common shortcuts used in Photoshop. The user can program the remaining 20 keys by choosing the function, filter, or tool they use most often.
The keyboard is a plug-and-play device and is compatible with Windows and Mac. Users don’t need to install any drivers and can simply plug the keyboard into a USB port and start working right away.
With a length of about 16 inches, a width of 12 inches and height of less than an inch, the Shortcut-S keyboard takes up slightly more space than a typical keyboard, but it is designed to make editing and designing easier and faster even for beginners.
Shortcut-S is currently raising funds on Kickstarter, with over 40 days to go. Interested backers can pre-order the keyboard at $89.
