There Is Now A TV Guide For Viral Internet Videos
Pluto.TV lets you watch all the best internet clips in one place.
There are countless videos on the internet and, more often than not, you’ll have to plow through a few bad ones to get to the good or popular ones.
Los Angeles-based company Pluto.tv wants to make that experience easier by bringing online viral videos, comedy shows, and other popular clips into one place to make them easier to find.
Founded by Nick Grouf, Tom Ryan, and Ilya Pozin, Pluto.tv is a website and app that brings the traditional TV format to internet video and it’s reflected in how the site is formatted. Users can browse through a numbered channel guide below the main video feed. They can also click on the “All Channels” button on top of the page to see them organized in categories like Music, News & Info, Entertainment, Sports, and Comedy.
Pluto.tv just launched this week with content from sites like Funny Or Die, YouTube, QVC, and more. The company hopes to have over 100 channels available to viewers for free. According to a report on Forbes, the company may even offer premium channels in the future.
The Pluto.tv app is free for iOS and Android devices.
