Hello Sitter is an on-demand, New York City-based childcare app that enables parents to find vetted, experienced and curated babysitters that perfectly match the needs of their child.

By selecting up to five unique qualities they’re looking for in a babysitter, as well as important details about the child (i.e., allergies and food preferences, bed and bath routine, special needs, likes and interests) an algorithm matches parents with the right sitter in minutes.

The app itself is free and doesn’t require a membership fee—the only price is that of the babysitter. And given that the booking process takes place within the app, there’s no need for cash either—simply order and pay and you’re good to go.

For many parents who have traditionally followed the word of mouth procedure for finding a babysitter, Hello Sitter could be their new best friend: by connecting guardians to a network of proficient, pre-assessed babysitters, trust issues will effectively become a thing of the past.
