PSFK is proud to present the 7th edition of the Future of Retail. Join us on January 17, 2017 at Scandinavia House for a half-day conference built around PSFK’s Future of Retail 2017 report, which looks at transformation strategies for customer-first business.




The Future of Retail 2017 report presents ten transformation strategies that retailers and brands must adapt to create a customer-first organization that can exceed the expectations of a new generation of shoppers.

This half-day event presents an in-depth trends-analysis of the retail landscape and delivers actionable strategies to develop an empowered frontline, implement performance technology and create responsive operations.

Alongside expert speakers, PSFK researchers will present an overview of the new report, examining the shifting consumer behaviors and major trends that will influence future seasons of retail planning.

The speakers will share practicable insights that highlight the impact of the findings and suggest approaches for translating trends into action.

  • Angela Maurer

    Head of Tesco Labs

    Angela Maurer is Head of Tesco Labs, Tesco’s research and development arm, which is a multi-discipline team of researchers, product managers, developers & designers that aims to envisage, design and create the future Tesco today. Angela is a computer science graduate of Exeter University has held a number of positions across Tesco in Technology, Commercial and Marketing before setting up Tesco Labs in 2014.
  • Jonas Nwuke

    Chief of Staff

    Jonas is a Chief of Staff at IBM Watson, where he has spent nearly a decade working on Big Data technologies for the enterprise. As a leader within the Watson Ecosystem team, Jonas works to help third party companies apply Watson technology to real world retail and operational problems. He is also a graduate of the University of Colorado with an MBA from the University of Chicago.
