In an increasingly digital world where people are constantly moving their activities into the virtual domain, it's easy to forget the places digital culture hasn't touched. Italian artist Filippo Minelli presents an interesting visual discussion about the uneven distribution of digital content and culture in his Contradictions series.

The conceptual artist Minelli explained his thinking behind the project in a recent interview by Wooster Collective:

Technologies and the marketing behind them usually push the almost religious aspect of their evolution…and the users are pushed to live in an intense way the abstraction from reality, living technologies only as an idea and sometimes without even knowing their real functions.
