Bold architecture and restrained branding netted Infiniti as our pick for best exhibit design of the 2010 NY Auto Show.

There were a significant number of new and refreshed exhibit stands at this years NY Auto Show. Our pick for best exhibit design goes to Infiniti. The stand was dominated by a circular stage wrapped in curved architectural walls. The scale was quite massive but the entire stand felt airy and light. The stage area featured the Essence concept car, a long and sculptural coupe. The organic shapes of the car played nicely against the more angular backdrop. Infiniti chose not to overload the space with video displays, flashing lights, or even textual brand messaging. But the space was quite memorable because of the shapes. While our photos don't do the scale justice, we've tried to give a sense of the overall design.
