WrapStove- A Roll Up Portable Cooking Device-1

The WrapStove concept by designer Won Chul Hwang moves the heating element of from the bottom to the sides of cooking containers. It’s claimed that this method actually shortens cooking time, and decreases energy waste.

The roll-up device is made to wrap around the outside of a pot, and is held on by magnets. A simple touchscreen control panel is used to control temperature.

As a portable stove, it’s not clear how the WrapStove would be charged while used out in the wild. Regardless, it’s an interesting re-think of a common item.
