Make It Right foundation launches new designs to help those in need

Brad Pitt is known for supporting a host of charities including UNICEF, Project A.L.S. and the American Foundation for Equal Rights. Now his focus is on Make It Right, a charity he founded back in 2007 that aims to help disadvantaged families find the perfect shelter.

The charity has released six new affordable family home designs for its Kansas City Manheim Park project, a renovation campaign that saw badly deteriorated historic schools transformed into new homes for those in need within Missouri. The new models were created by using local architects' skills who each contributed an exclusive, conceptual design based on a brief of a wide range of clients. The homes include features aimed at helping young people transition out of foster care, as well as seniors who are less mobile and single families in desperate need of extra space.
