Unit stores recycling and trash in stackable compartments to save kitchen space

Food is one of the largest contributors to waste and many households improvise using bags and boxes that will eventually end up in the trash as well. London design studio PearsonLloyd offers a stylish solution to this with a new addition to its Intelligent Waste collection of garbage and recycling bins for kitchenware brand Joseph Joseph.

The new Stack and Stack 4 modules focus on compostables, and used in conjunction with Totem, the firm’s initial model, the slim design of the series means homeowners can merge all the separate bags and bins used for recycling into one neat customizable unit.
