Italian architectural firm Stefano Boeri Architetti is building a vertical forest hotel in Guizhou, China. The 250-rooms of the Mountain Forest Hotel will be nested in the Wanfenglin scenic area, which is full of green karst formations dotted around the landscape. The hotel will be covered by greenery from its foundation to the roof, so much so that the hotel will improve the air quality around it. It will also include the usual amenities, including a gym, a lounge, a VIP area, bar, restaurant and conference facilities.
