Realtor.com has added AR to their app to give buyer important information about listings in their database

Realtor.com makes it easier for perspective home owners to assess the area they are interested in buying by giving them an augmented reality tour. They have announced two new additions: Street Peek and Sign Snap.

Street Peek works when a user points their phone at any home they’d like to review, including homes not listed on the market. The application lists the property’s listing price, estimated value and interior details.

To use Sign Snap, a user must take a photo of a “For Sale” sign with their smartphone’s GPS switched on. Realtor.com then tracks the phone while it runs through the database to pull the property’s listed information.

Sign Snap has already launched and was added to the application. Street Peeks will not launch until Spring 2017.
