Financial services company Western Union has created a Facebook Messenger bot that customers can utilize to transfer funds. The launch was announced during Facebook’s developer conference on April 18-19 in San Jose, California.

Of all the digital transfers completed by Western Union members, 60% of them are carried out on a mobile device. By launching the Messenger bot, those members can now directly send funds to friends and family around the world and access an automated customer support system through the application.

Specifically the bot will enable users to transfer money to over 200 countries using 130 varieties of currency across the world.
