Mitsubishi Electric has announced an air conditioner that comes equipped with AI to set the perfect temperature

Mitsubishi Electric, the multinational manufacturer, announced the launch of the Mitsubishi Kirigamine FZ, an air conditioner equipped with an artificial intelligence. The AI determines the room's immediate temperature, the outdoor temperature and the solar radiation affecting the room from outside. Using this information, the AI adjusts the air conditioner's two fans to provide an ideal experience for the owner.

The device is also equipped with an infrared sensor designed to scan a person's hands and feet when they enter the room to detect their overall temperature, looking to see whether or not the person feels comfortable. If multiple people stand in the room, the AI consistently adjusts the AC's temperature to make sure all of the room's occupants feel comfortable based on the infrared scans.

For now, Mitsubishi Electric has six different models of the Kirigamine FZ available in Japan. The models were priced from $3,000 to $4,200 and will be released to the public on November 1 of this year.
