The Oclean is a sonic toothbrush that gives brushers feedback on their daily routine

We’ve heard it all before—floss, rinse, repeat.  To help ensure we are cleaning our teeth optimally, a Chinese based lab in Shenzen called Omate has developed a sonic smart toothbrush that uses intelligent algorithms to create a customized plan on how to best brush your teeth.

The unique toothbrush, coined the ‘Oclean One,’ features a custom-made koti sonic vibrator, DuPont bristles, bluetooth capacity, a water-resistant speaker and a rechargeable battery that can last up to two months. The different cleaning modes, intensities and duration can all be controlled through a smartphone app making it easy for individuals to create their perfect routine.

The Ocelan has a built-in gyroscope that can monitor the motion, angle and pressure that you apply to the brush. The system is able to analyze the data collected while brushing to report your brushing habits to your phone along with tips for improvement.  Launched in China in June of this year, the Oclean is now been introduced to the global market and is seeking international funding for further development.
