For FRUU, sustainability is a top priority and the U.K. startup is going the extra mile for it. FRUU has made a commitment to recycling fruit waste and creating zero waste in the process as well. Its lip balm collection is made from more than 15 types of organic fruits and is composed of 70% fruit-based ingredients.

The balms are made to order, so FRUU also avoids having unwanted stock go to waste. FRUU purchases the fruit waste from farmers, who get an extra source of income from the exchange.
