An app will allow customers to browse the Swarovski crystal collection in VR and pay for their products using Masterpass

Crystal company Swarovski teamed up with Mastercard to launch a virtual reality app in which consumers have the chance to browse Swarovski’s selection. If the consumer locates an item they’d like to purchase, they can use Masterpass, Mastercard’s digital payment service, to buy it.

The VR experience takes place inside of a home where the consumer browses through five different rooms, each of which contains a different product. All of the pieces have a description listed, along with their price and story, and some have craftsmanship videos posted with them. Upon launching the app, consumers are prompted to log in using their Masterpass information.

Anyone interested in viewing the app can download it from the Apple or Google Play store in October.
