Sportswear brand Adidas has unveiled the future of making footwear. Speedfactory utilizes athlete data-driven design, open source co-creation and localized manufacturing for radically accelerated footwear production.

This groundbreaking manufacturing process is opening across the world in cities including London, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Shanghai. The shoes are customized to meet the needs of athletes in each city, tailored to suit their specific demands and co-created using their fitness data to shape the design and development process.
