McDonalds Has Debuted The McVegan In Finland
The fast food chain is testing out the appeal and branding of meatless products
For the first time ever, American fast food restaurant McDonald’s will be selling a soy based burger named the McVegan. The new menu item will only be available in a McDonald’s in Tampere, Finland, from October 4 through November 21.
According to Today, McDonald’s has no current plans of bringing the McVegan outside of Finland. However, considering the rising popularity of the vegan diet in the United States, it’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility to imagine the McVegan coming to the United States one day.
