This temporary tattoo informs the wearer when they have had too much exposure to UV rays

Ever basked in the sun on a seemingly cloudy day and then later turned into a beetroot from casually overdosing on UV rays? Well, you’re in luck, because a new company called LogicInk has created a temporary tattoo that changes color when the wearer has been exposed to too much sun.

The temporary tattoo is called Logic UV and comes as two rings wrapped around each other—the outer ring as bright pink and the inner ring starts as white. The white ring serves as a meter to the intensity of the UV rays by shifting from white to purple. The longer the wearer stays in the sun, the outer ring changes from bright pink to purple. LogicInk created various Logic UV tattoo options depending on skin type and UV levels.

LogicInk is slated to launch a beta program for Logic UV later this Fall.
