A new lifestyle magazine focuses the culture of Cannabis and its effects

29 states in the United States have now legalized the use of marijuana for medical or recreational use, which demonstrates the population’s gradual acceptance of the once-condemned drug. With this large market exploding at such a rapid rate, not many companies know how to promote on this product other than encouraging their customers to indulge in the  drug. Enter Gossamer, a new publication for people who smoke weed as part of their everyday lifestyle and publish stories not just about the act of smoking itself, but the activities people partake in and the sensations involved while under the influence.

The two founders focus on a variety of different topics like traveling to a new city, meeting new people or fine dining event where flavors explode after having a hit.

The pair also plans to publish exclusive interviews with people that would make ideal dinner party guests, both inside and outside the culture of cannabis.

Pfetten and Weiner want to break away from the negative stereotypes of marijuana being just a hedonistic, escapist drug in the 60s and 70s, and show the growing mainstream culture of cannabis and how the people who smoke nowadays do so with a level of sophistication. The magazine may also enlighten those who still look down on the drug.

People interested in following Gossamer can sign up for their newsletters on the company website, follow their Instagram page or check out their live events on social media. Pfetten and Weiner plan to debut the print issue in 2018.
