Acid house pioneer Danny Rampling announced the celebration in London

  • 8 december 2017

To mark the 30th anniversary of legendary club Shoom, acid house pioneer Danny Rampling is celebrating with a special party at London’s Pulse club. Rampling founded Shoom in 1987, holding its first club night in an intimate basement fitness centre venue. It was marketed with a simple smiley face logo and revolutionized the house music scene.

Shoom 30 is being held on December 8th, with a line-up including Tony Humphries, Bushwacka!, X-Press 2, and Danny Rampling himself. There will be a dedicated VR space hosting Mutator VR, which will enable partygoers to wear the headsets and immerse themselves in artwork that changes based on their dance moves.
