Japanese firms 07 Beach and Studio Happ designed the office building with nature in mind to promote well-being among urban workers

Japanese architecture and design studios 07 Beach and Studio Happ have taken their nature-inspired designs to Ho Chi Minh City, where they recently built a park-like office building for the Vietnamese location of Evolable Asia, a tourism company.

The idea behind the five-floor office building’s design was to enhance work productivity and quality of urban living by providing workers with indoor green spaces that promote well-being. The building’s interior features sunny plant-lined and windowed perimeters, real turf carpets where employees are encouraged to sit while taking breaks, and grass-covered hilly meeting spaces complete with wooden benches and white, trellised coverings where coworkers can convene in a garden-like atmosphere.
