In Brief

Tribe Theory calls itself a 'venture hotel' and is optimized for young people who work for themselves and spend time traveling

Tribe Theory is a new hotel geared toward entrepreneurs and startups in Singapore. The “Venture Hotel” believes in “building human connection amongst a like-minded community of global citizens through an inspired business travel experience.”

Founded by Vikram Bharati, an avid traveler himself, the goal of the hotel is to expand globally and provide affordable accommodations for young business travelers, while still offering a fun and enjoyable experience.

The rooms at Tribe Theory are shared and have capsule beds. A one night stay costs 35 Singapore dollars, which is about $26 U.S. That being said, the hotel is unique in that visitors can pay in Bitcoin and Ethereum, in an attempt to give entrepreneurs who may be strapped for cash but have other investments an opportunity to stay. In addition to the rooms, there is also a coworking space available.
