Trader Joe’s Podcast Takes Consumers Inside The Business

The grocery retailer Trader Joe’s released its first podcast, which brings customers behind the scenes to learn how the company operates. Called Inside Trader Joe’s, the five-part series involves employees from store crew members to the President and COO of the company, and provides information on products, contests and future plans.

The show also touches on other must-know questions for the chain’s often passionate fanbase, including the process of opening a Trader Joe’s in a neighborhood and whether customers ever be able to buy online.

“Providing information to our customers has always been an important part of what we do,” Kenya Friend-Daniel, a Trader Joe’s spokesperson said in a press release. “Inside Trader Joe’s has allowed us the air—literally—to delve a little deeper into our story and to answer the questions our customers have asked of us, in our own fun and interesting way. It’s a good start to a conversation we hope to continue.”
