Christopher Bauder is the founder and CEO of WHITEvoid, an interactive art & design studio that operates at the interface between art, design and technology. Recently, his studio worked in collaboration with Philips to create the “LivingSculpture 3D module system” for the brand’s “LivingSculpture” product family. The resulting solution consisted of a highly flexible lighting system that includes a modular plug and play OLED system that allows for infinite variations in layout and arrangement of a ceiling or wall lighting installation using an iPad controlled light animation application. As an interaction designer and media artist, Christopher is interested in the translation of digital information into objects and environments and vice versa. For his interactive installation ToneLadder he received the Newcomer Award “Multimedia Transfer Award”.
