Sale of real-time TV streaming software blocked in Germany
In a first ruling, a Hamburg court has blocked the sale of software that allows the near-real-time streaming of TV content through the Internet. German pay-TV company Premiere is suing German software house TC Unterhaltungselektronik (TCU) over the introduction of its software “Tvoon Media Center” and “Cybersky TV”.
