WiFi TV

By Guy Brighton on January 6, 2006

We’ve all been there. Sat on planes with our laptops wishing we had been able to watch a film on our laptop in order to ignore the poor service and worse food. If only we remembered to bring 25 DVDs to choose from on our business trip….  Now, a new service will change our inflight entertainment for the good. Plans for San Francisco airport will allow travelers to download TV shows and films at the airport as they wait to get on the plane, Wired online reports. The service will also offer multiplayer games and music.

Who needs high-def discs that can hold your lifetime’s memory when you have WiFi, eh?
