
Came across this interesting article explaining the 1% rule of online creation:
It’s an emerging rule of thumb that suggests that if you get a group of 100 people online then one will create content, 10 will "interact" with it (commenting or offering improvements) and the other 89 will just view it.
Does that reflect your online experience?

I’m pretty sure Malcolm Gladwell and a few others have used the 10% figure when referencing influencers/influentials who determine what the rest do. If we place the online creation/interaction figure of 11% within that context, it certainly makes sense to me!

at our website: http://www.wulffmorgenthaler.com the 10% is more or less right.
We have around 8% casting a vote and around 1-2% commenting.
